For the fifth year, Roy and Kris will be trading at the Colorado Indian Art Market. This longstanding juried Indian Market brings together some of the best Indian and Western artists for a weekend of art, music and food. This year, Roy will set up his tipi for display. So come out for great art and entertainment!

Museum of the Mountain Man
During these action-packed days, presenters will give presentations all day long for school groups and other interested attendees. More than 800 students come through to learn about the Fur Trade.

Marie Dorion Presentation
Sublette County Historical Society
During this hour-long presentation, Kris will tell the story of Marie Dorion, one of the first women to cross the continent to settle in Oregon. A mixed-breed Iowa Indian, Marie has been called the female revenant for her heroics.
American Mountain Man Association National Rendezvous
The best of the best get together once a year for one of the premier primitive gatherings. Kris is attending as a guest to learn and share knowledge, and to hone her primitive skills.

Museum of the Mountain Man
For the fifth year, Kris has been invited to join the AMM in their demonstration camp at The Museum of the Mountain Man during the annual Green River Rendezvous. The camp features high quality displays, demonstrations and presentations by fur trade experts. Kris will have her historic tipi on display and will have a trade lodge.

This primitive 1800s Indian Camp is one of Kris' favorite events of the year. For a week we live in tipis, ride horses, and live like the old times. An emphasis on authenticity and learning is emphasized. New members are welcome. Ask Kris for details.

Fort Bridger Rendezvous
Fort Bridger, Wyoming
This is the 44th Anniversary of the Fort Bridger Rendezvous, one of the largest mountain man rendezvous in the nation. The rendezvous is a re-enactment of the annual gathering of mountain men traders and Indians that occurred in the west and took place between 1825 and 1840. The event has grown into one of the most attended events in Wyoming, topped only by Cheyenne Frontier Days. Kris will not be giving any presentations, but she can't resist the chance to set up her trade blanket. And she will be camping in her historic tipi, so tours may be arranged upon request!

Tesoro Cultural Center's 1830's Rendezvous
One of Kris' favorite living history interpretive events, The Fort Rendezvous features a small group of high quality living historians and historic artists with a variety of exhibits, demonstrations and presentations.

Estes Park, Colorado
A fantastic celebration of fall, this event is highlighted by the beautiful fall leaves and snow capped peaks framing this cute mountain town. City Park on the main drag is filled with artisans, music, performers and a mountain man encampment. Roy's tipi will be on display and Kris will be selling wares and painting faces.
