National Muzzleloading Rifle Association's National Shoot
Each Spring, Muzzleloaders from across the country convened in Phoenix to determine who is top gun. Kris will be trading out of Fort Boone Trading at this first visit to this event.

Tesoro Cultural Center's Indian Market and PowWow
Each May, Native artists and dancers gather at The Fort Restaurant for a weekend celebration of American Indian art and culture. Kris is honored to display her historic tipi, paint faces, and display her trade blanket.

Greeley Museums' Centennial Celebration
Located at Greeley's Centennial Village living history park, this weekend long celebration features a small group of high quality living historians and historic artists with a variety of exhibits, demonstrations and presentations. Kris and Roy set up their tipis and provided several presentations.

Green River Rendezvous
For the first time, Kris was invited to join the AMM in their demonstration camp at The Museum of the Mountain Man during the annual Green River Rendezvous. The camp featured high quality displays, demonstrations and presentations by fur trade experts. Kris had her historic tipi on display and her trade lodge.

150th Anniversary Platte Bridge Fight
Fort Casper, Wyoming
During this one time event, re-enactors from across the country recreated two historic battles. Throughout the weekend, living history demonstrations and activities took place at Fort Casper State Historic Site. Kris had her tipi on display and will also featured a trade lodge.

Bozeman Trail Days
Fort Phil Kearny, Wyoming
The Fort's Volunteer Corps has revived this annual event, with reenactors and historians providing educational opportunities at the Fort and adjacent historic sites. Kris provided tipi tours and education throughout the weekend on the Fort grounds.

Fort Bridger Rendezvous
Fort Bridger, Wyoming
This is the 40th Anniversary of the Fort Bridger Rendezvous, one of the largest mountain man rendezvous in the nation. The rendezvous is a re-enactment of the annual gathering of mountain men traders and Indians that occurred in the west and took place between 1825 and 1840. The event has grown into one of the most attended events in Wyoming, topped only by Cheyenne Frontier Days. Kris' trade tipi was set up along the creek.

One of Kris' favorite living history interpretive events, The Fort Rendezvous features a small group of high quality living historians and historic artists with a variety of exhibits, demonstrations and presentations.

Heber Cowboy Poetry Gathering
Wasatch High School, Heber City Utah
The Cowboy Poetry Gathering is one of the biggest celebrations of western and cowboy culture, hosted by Waddie Mitchell. Four days of top-notch musical talent, poetry, displays by western artists, dances, and more await visitors.
Kris was invited back again this year to the small camp of mountain men on display outside the main event venue. Kris' historic tipi was on display and her trade tipi was open.
